What Yoga Is?

YOGA is a spiritual and ascetic Hindu technique, a portion of which is common practice for wellbeing and healing, including breath control, basic meditation, and the practice of particular body postures.

Studies say that another by-product of daily yoga practice is healthier sleep, ensuring you will be less exhausted and depressed and less likely to have injuries.

Asana and pranayama are likely to promote immune function, but meditation has the best research support in this direction so far. It tends to have a positive effect on the immune system’s functioning, improving it when necessary (for example, increasing the number of antibodies in reaction to a vaccine) and lowering it when necessary (for instance, mitigating an inappropriately aggressive immune function in an autoimmune disease like psoriasis).
